How do I pick the right size?

Every toy lists the size it comes in, from S/M up to XL. Pick for your dog rather than for how it looks in the photograph — a toy that is too small is a swallowing risk, and one that is too large just gets ignored. If you are between sizes, email us with your dog’s weight and breed and we will tell you which one we would send.

What is the difference between tug, fetch and enrichment?

Tug toys carry braided rope bound into a reinforced seam, so there is something firm to pull against. Fetch toys are light enough to throw a distance and shaped so a dog can carry them back without fighting them. Enrichment toys give a dog something to work at rather than simply hold — textures, hidden spaces, and a treat ball that has to be solved.

Will these survive a heavy chewer?

No plush toy will, and we are not going to tell you otherwise. These are made for supervised play. If your dog goes through plush in minutes, the honest answer is that plush is the wrong category for them — not that you have picked the wrong brand.

Do the toys clean my dog’s teeth?

No, and we will not claim they do. It is a toy. It is for playing with. Anything past that would be something we invented.

What does “supervised play only” actually mean?

Stay in the room. A plush toy is safe right up until it is not, and the moment it stops being safe is the moment a seam opens or a rope frays — which you can only catch if you are there to catch it.

When should I retire a toy?

Check it before each session. Once the fabric tears, a rope frays, or any piece works loose small enough to swallow, retire it. A toy that has done its job and been retired is a toy that did exactly what it should.

Can my dog keep one in the crate overnight?

We would say no. Unsupervised chewing is where plush toys cause problems, and overnight is the longest a toy ever goes unwatched.

What does shipping cost?

A flat US$5.99 per order for standard, or US$9.99 for expedited — whatever the size of the order and wherever it is going. The rate that applies is shown at checkout before you pay.

How long until it arrives?

We dispatch within 1 to 2 business days. After that, standard delivery usually takes 7 to 14 business days and expedited 4 to 8. Those are estimates based on how our carriers normally perform, not guarantees — customs checks, weather and carrier backlogs add time and we control none of them.

Where do orders ship from?

Hong Kong, worldwide, to the destinations listed at checkout. If your country is not offered there, we cannot currently ship to it.

Will I pay customs or import duty?

You might, depending on where you are. Those charges are set by your government rather than by us, they are payable on arrival, and we can neither estimate them in advance nor refund them.

What is the return window?

30 days from the day your order arrives. Email info@chewvox.com with your order number to start one.

Can I return a toy my dog has already played with?

No. Once a toy has been given to a dog it cannot be resold, and we would rather tell you that here than let you post it back and then refuse it. Items need to be unused, clean, and in the condition they arrived in, with any packaging they came with.

Who pays return postage?

You do — unless the item arrived faulty, damaged, or was not what you ordered, in which case we cover it.

How long does a refund take?

Once the return reaches us and has been checked, the refund goes back to the original payment method and typically takes 5 to 10 business days to appear. Your bank sets that last part, not us.
