About Chewvox

The toy is the best part of a dog’s day.

We started Chewvox because that is true, and because most plush toys are designed as though it were not. Ours are characters first — a starfish, an aubergine, a flamingo, a pizza — because a toy your dog recognises across the room is a toy that actually gets played with.

Nine toys, three kinds of play, and no claims we cannot stand behind. That last part rules out most of what this category says about itself, which is rather the point.

Characters your dog can pick out across a room, in sizes from S/M up to XL.

What we make

Plush toys built around how dogs actually play. Tug toys carry braided rope so there is something firm to pull against. Fetch toys are light enough to throw well and shaped to be carried back. Enrichment toys give a dog something to work at rather than simply hold.

Every toy states the size it comes in, so you can pick one suited to your dog instead of hoping. That is a small thing that turns out to matter more than almost anything else on the page.

Three kinds of play

Tug

Braided rope tabs bound into a reinforced seam, so there is something solid at both ends of the game.

Fetch

Light enough to throw a distance, shaped so a dog can pick it up and carry it back without fighting it.

Enrichment

Something to work at rather than simply hold — textures, hidden spaces and a treat ball that has to be solved.

How we work

Chewvox is a small operation. We choose the characters, set the sizes and the construction, and work with manufacturing partners who make to that specification. We are not a factory and we do not pretend to be one — we are the people who decide what gets made, to what standard, and who answer the email when something is wrong.

What we hold ourselves to

We don’t say indestructible

No plush toy is, and we would rather tell you that than imply otherwise. Our toys are made for supervised play, and we say so on every page.

No invented claims

We don’t tell you a toy cleans teeth or reduces plaque. It is a toy. It is for playing with. Anything beyond that would be something we made up.

Pick by size, not by guesswork

Every toy lists the size it comes in, from S/M up to XL, so you can choose one that suits your dog rather than hoping it works out.

Honest pricing

One price per toy, no permanent countdown, no struck-through number that was never really charged. What you see is what it costs.

How to use them safely

Check a toy before each session. Once the fabric tears, a rope frays, or a piece becomes small enough to swallow, retire it. Choose a size suited to your dog, and stay nearby while they play. A toy that has done its job and been retired is a toy that did exactly what it should.
